Privacy Policy

Material Calculator Pro is designed with privacy as a default. The app does not collect personal information, does not require an account, does not connect to any server, and does not share any data with third parties. This policy explains exactly what the app does — and does not — do with your data.

1. Information We Collect

Material Calculator Pro does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers
• Crash logs transmitted off your device
• Any information that could identify you as an individual

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All data you enter into the app — project names, measurements, calculation inputs, and results — is stored locally on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework.

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any server
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Is deleted when you delete the app

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Material Calculator Pro offers optional in-app purchases (weekly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime purchase) processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework.

We do not operate a payment backend. We do not receive, store, or process your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple.

To manage or cancel a subscription, go to: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Analytics and Tracking

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking code of any kind.

We do not use:

• Firebase Analytics
• Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools
• Facebook SDK or any social SDKs
• Advertising networks or attribution tools
• Any code that tracks behavior across apps or websites

5. Children's Privacy

Material Calculator Pro does not knowingly collect any information from users of any age. Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of all ages. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect data. The only external system involved is Apple's App Store for purchase processing.

7. App Permissions

Material Calculator Pro does not request access to:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Location
• Contacts
• Photos (reading or writing)
• Health data
• Bluetooth

No device permissions are requested or required to use the app.

8. Data Retention

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you control its retention entirely:

• Data persists as long as the app is installed
• Deleting the app removes all stored project data
• There is no server-side backup or cloud sync

9. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal information, there is no data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You have full control over all data in the app by managing it directly within the app or uninstalling.

If you reside in the European Union (GDPR), California (CCPA), or another jurisdiction with privacy legislation, these laws apply to the collection and processing of personal data. As we collect none, there is nothing to disclose beyond what is stated here.

10. Security

Your calculation data lives entirely on your device and benefits from the security features built into iOS, including device encryption and Secure Enclave protection where applicable. We have no access to this data and cannot retrieve it remotely.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the Effective Date above. Significant changes (such as if a future version of the app were to add data collection) would be disclosed via an App Store update notice.

We do not have a mechanism to notify existing users by email, as we have no email addresses. You can always find the current policy at the URL linked in the app.
